Insulation

Insulation Standards

50% of all energy used is within buildings.
40%-60% of of building energy use is space heating.
It is obvious how important insulation is.
It follows that action in the building industry has had to be taken considering the depletion of resources, escalating climate change and damage to eco system.

The target to make all houses 0% by 2016 is a very much a real target laid out by the government.
Codes of practice exist currently to guide the construction industry the two that exist main are BREEAM and Code for sustainability.

Rather then relay all the content of the documents it would be far to inaccurate and clumsy to list them here in relation to insulation rather link them for further referencing on insulation.
